An elite community impact group dedicated to supporting business development and Chamber events while fostering leadership growth. The Hispanic Chamber Ambassadors act as one voice to promote and empower the Hispanic business community.
Program Goals
- Strengthen the relationship with businesses, organizations, professionals, and the numerous cultural and civic entities of Central Florida.
- Promote programs, events, resources, and activities aimed at improving the economic development of Hispanics in the region.
- Support other organizations that recognize individual cultures and promote Hispanic integration allowing for the preservation of Hispanic heritage.
Promote member retention. - Encourage participation and support from current members in Hispanic Chamber functions.
Admission Criteria
Ambassadors are selected based on their interest, reliability, integrity, energy, and communication skills. To be effective, ambassadors must recognize that the Hispanic Chamber is a valuable organization dedicated to the economic development of its community. Ambassador duties involve providing a communication link between members and the Chamber.
- Ambassadors must be active members of the Chamber for at least 6 months.
Membership must be in good standing. - They must have a proven track record of volunteer leadership initiatives in the community.
- They must have the approval and support of their employer and be informed of the time commitment (meetings during normal business hours, before and after work hours. Approximately four to six hours per month).
Role of the Ambassador
- Promote the Chamber and refer potential members.
- Encourage current members’ participation in Chamber events.
Greet partners at Chamber events and connect them with other partners. - Participate in other Chamber projects determined by the Ambassador Committee.
- Represent the Chamber at community events or functions.
It is the ambassador’s responsibility to stay informed about our programs and events.
