The Hispanic Chamber of Metro Orlando — the region’s third-largest chamber has a new president and CEO, but its last leader, Gaby Ortigoni, is not going far. Pedro Turushina took the top spot on Feb. 1, with the change announced during the chamber’s Feb. 6 Ignite Luncheon.
Meanwhile, Ortigoni, who became the chamber’s top executive in 2018, now will lead the Hispanic Economic Advancement Foundation, a new local nonprofit organization created to help focus on helping businesses get more government and private contract opportunities.
